Grimaldi taking full control of New TTT Lines

Grimaldi Group is set to take full control of ro-ro shipping company New TTT Lines according to workers unions in Italy which are calling for more detailed informations about their future.

New TTT Lines, 50-50 owned by Italian groups Grimaldi and Caronte & Tourist, is active with two time chartered ro-pax ships on the motorway of the seas connecting the port of Naples with Catania, Sicily.

The company was formally founded in 2015 by Caronte & Tourist and Tomasos Group in 2015, but takes origin from the former TTT Lines launched by the Tomasos Transport & Tourism many years before.

Controlling the company, active on the coastal routes in Southern Italy, would represent for Grimaldi a further increase of its market share in the ferry and ro-ro sector in the Mediterrenean basin.
