Gulf Marine Services secures extensions for two vessels

Abu Dhabi-based offshore vessel operator Gulf Marine Services has secures contract extensions for two of its vessels.

A small class vessel has secured a 16-month contract extension including options, effectively from the third quarter of 2018, for work in the Middle East. Additionally, a mid-size vessel has secured a six-month contract extension in the Middle East.

“Levels of tender activity for all our vessel classes are improving in the oil and gas sector in the Middle East and we are pleased to have secured this contract extension for one of our Small Class vessels in the region. We have been supporting well service and maintenance work for this international oil company continuously for more than ten years and this award is testament to our client’s ongoing confidence in GMS to deliver the highest quality offshore support solutions,” said Duncan Anderson, chief executive officer of GMS.
