H. Vogemann adds another handysize bulker at Taizhou Kouan

German owner H. Vogemann has placed an order at China’s Taizhou Kouan Shipbuilding for the construction of a 38,500 dwt handysize bulk carrier.

According to shipbroking sources, the ship is expected to be delivered in 2020.

H. Vogemann ordered a quartet of 38,800 dwt bulk carriers at Taizhou Kouan last year, with deliveries scheduled in 2018 and 2019.

The company currently operates a fleet of three owned vessels made up of one bulker and two tankers.
