H. Vogemann orders four bulkers at Taizhou Kouan

China’s Taizhou Kouan Shipbuilding has announced that it has signed shipbuilding contracts with an unnamed European owner for the construction of four 38,800dwt bulk carriers.

Broking sources indicate that the order is from German owner Reederei H. Vogemann. The vessel are set for delivery from the end of 2018 through to 2019.

Hamburg-based Reederei H. Vogemann currently owns a fleet of seven vessels made up of one capesize bulker, two panamax bulkers, two handysize bulkers and two product tankers.
