Hainan Strait Shipping adds new vessel

Shanghai: Hainan Strait Shipping, one of the major passenger roro operators in the South China Sea, has added a new vessel, Feng Huang Ling, into its fleet, becoming the largest passenger roro vessel operating in the Qiongzhou Strait.

The vessel, 127 m in length and 20.5 m in width, was built by Huanghai Shipyard.

The company expects to receive another two passenger roro vessels in 2015 to improve the passenger transport capacity in Hainan as the province is becoming a popular tourism destination. [16/12/14]
