Singapore: MTM Ship Management of Singapore is on course to have 50 ships on its books by the first quarter of next year. The firm’s managing director Vijay Rangroo told SeaShip News his fleet currently stands on 45 ships, up from 38 at the start of the year. Principally a chemical tanker specialist MTM has taken on some bulkers and boxships this year. From a cost basis, MTM has targeted an ideal fleet size of between 60 to 70 ships. [20/08/12]
