Halliburton awarded seven contracts for Ichthys project

Houston-headquartered Halliburton Company has been awarded seven contracts for drilling and completion services for the next phase of field development at the INPEX-operated Ichthys Project, located in the Browse Basin offshore northern Australia.

The campaign is due to start in March 2020 and have an estimated duration of three years. The contracts awarded include directional drilling, logging while drilling, surface data logging, drilling and completions fluids, cementing, liner hangers, coring and well completions services.

Jason Jeow, vice president of the Australasia region for Halliburton, commented: “We are excited to win this work and to collaborate with INPEX to deliver our extensive drilling and completions services in addition to our digital capabilities in the strategically significant Browse Basin.”

Grant Rowles

Grant spent nine years at Informa Group based in London, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore. He gained strong management experience in publishing, conferences and awards schemes in the shipping and legal areas, working on a number of titles including Lloyd's List. In 2009 Grant joined Seatrade responsible for the commercial development of Seatrade’s Asia products. In 2012, with Sam Chambers, he co-founded Asia Shipping Media.
