Hanjin Cape Lambert resold for half a million less

Brokers tell Splash that a ship India’s Great Eastern attempted to purchase at the end of October, failed.

This time it’s Greek outfit Capital which has been linked to the seven-year-old 179,000 dwt Hanjin Cape Lambert. The ship had not been on the market for a long time when it was reported sold last month and at the that time it reportedly fetched a solid $19.5m. Now the ship is reported sold for half a million less.

All Hanjin bulkers are up for sale as the Korean line fights off bankruptcy.
