Dalian: The northeast Chinese city, Harbin, is to add another port area at Shuangcheng.
Harbin, in Heliojiang province, is an increasingly active river port with growing trade across the border with Russia.
The port plans to expand from seven port areas to eight, including 263 cargo and passenger berths.
Harbin port aims at 13m tons cargo throughput and 3m passenger handling capacity by 2020. [05/11/14]
