Hariga shuts down
Cairo: Libya’s eastern oil export port Hariga shut down yesterday due to a strike of security guards who claim they have not been paid for months. Hariga used to export around 120,000 barrels a day. The port remains closed today. It was one of the last ports to still be open in the war torn nation.
Peace talks between the various Libyan factions are set for tomorrow. [09/02/15]
