Harren & Partner targets offshore wind with new JV

Bremen: Bremen-based Harren & Partner is targerting the wind installation sector by forming a joint venture with a construction company from Oldenburg.

TAGU Tiefbau and Combi Lift, the latter a subsidiary of Harren & Partner, made the announcement today.

“With this mixture of specialised expertise, ships and equipment supported by experienced crews, the new found joint venture plans to make the difference in tender procedures for large international projects,” the pair said in a release.

The joint venture is complemented by the company GCS – German Cargo Services. GCS is a joint company of TAGU and the Bremen based PWL Group. As shipbroker and agent, GCS focuses on breakbulk, project, roro, wind offshore energy and heavy lift transportation.
