Havila PSVs win new contracts with Statoil and Total

Two platform support vessels (PSVs) owned by Norway’s Havila Shipping have won period contracts with oil majors in the North Sea region.

Statoil has booked Havila Foresight (pictured; built 2008) on a one-year contract extension, which will continue when the vessel’s current charter ends on July 1. The new contract includes four six-month extension options.

Havila Aurora (built 2009) has begun work for Total UK for a firm period of three months, plus an optional one-month extension.

The contracts’ day rates were not disclosed by the Oslo-listed shipowner.
