Norwegian shipbuilding and technology group Havyard has announced that CEO Geir Johan Bakke will leave the company with immediate effect after the two parties agreed to “terminate the employment relationship”.
Bakke, who has been with Havyard Group since 2001 and CEO since 2004, has agreed to be available to the company should he be needed.
Gunnar Larsen has been appointed interim CEO, and the group will immediately begin the process of recruiting a permanent CEO. Larsen steps up from the position as general manager of Havyard Production.
