Havyard secures contracts for two newbuildings

Norwegian shipbuilding group Havyard has entered into contracts with an undisclosed customer for the construction of two vessels in the renewable energy segment.

The contract also includes an option for a further vessel.

Delivery of the confirmed vessels is scheduled in the third quarter of 2020 and the first quarter of 2021 repectively.

The contract is Havyard’s first offshore vessel order since 2016.
