Dalian: One of China’s newest shipowners talks to our sister site, Maritime CEO, today. Hengli Shipping is an offshoot of Hengli Group, a leading textile manufacturer.
Hengli started its own shipping company last year and ordered ten 15,000 dwt bulkers at Jiangsu Haitong Offshore Engineering as well as building a couple of terminals on the outskirts of Dalian. It took delivery of its first ship last month.
