Herun cooperates with Putian port

Shanghai: Multi-sector private Chinese company Herun has inked a strategic cooperation agreement with the southern Chinese city of Putian to develop logistics businesses.

Herun is to cooperate with the local port operator, Putain port group, to jointly develop a grains and soybeans warehouse and logistics projects.

Herun aims to establish a fleet of 4m tons capacity to transport grains and soybeans, and develop several warehouse and logistics bases in China.

Putian is one of the major ports in Fujian province, the port has completed 21m tons cargo throughput in the first 11 months of 2014, and aims to handle 100m tons of cargo within the next five years. [12/01/15]
