High winds change Suez transit schedules

Cairo: Winds in excess of 100 kmh are expected to smash across Egypt through to December 14, according to ship agency GAC.
In view of the bad weather the Suez Canal Authority has advised that the normal convoy system and times will be amended. Until December 14, northbound and southbound convoys entry times will be earlier than normal.
There will be only one southbound convoy, instead of the usual two, with an earlier entry time starting at about 2000 hours local time.
For the northbound convoy, the starting time is amended to about 0100 hours local. [12/12/13]
