Dalian: A logistics park project, jointly invested by Shandong Communication and Transportation Group and Hyundai Merchant Marine, has recently started construction in Qingdao.
The project is located in Huangdao area of Qingdao and it is a 3PL/4PL project, a modern logistics center with a strong focus in container management, and it will include a container yard, bonded warehouses, and a distribution center upon completion by May 2013. Total investment on the project is RMB330m.
“The project will further enhance the level of Qingdao’s port logistics and accelerate the development of the new economic zone in the west coast of Qingdao,” Qingdao Investment Promotion Bureau said in a release.[10/12/12]
