Hoegh in pole for PTTEP decision

Bangkok: Norway’s Hoegh LNG looks likely to have bagged a deal from Thailand’s PTTEP on a floating LNG (FLNG) production unit. The rival SBM-Linde pairing is reportedly out of the running.

Hoegh may soon win the front-end engineering and design (FEED) for the FLNG unit to be used to develop the Cash-Maple FLNG project off northwestern Australia. The engineering work on a two-million-tonne-per-annum FLNG is to take at least six months.  [27/11/12]
