Holger Strack to lead Zeaborn Ship Management as Nils Aden and Isabelle Rickmers depart

Hamburg-based Zeaborn Ship Management, the entity formed from the merger of E.R. Schiffahrt and Rickmers Shipmanagement, has appointed co-CEO Holger Strack to the position of CEO to take charge of all shipping activities.

Strack steps up after Nils Aden, also co-CEO, decided to leave the company at the end of the year to take on a new challenge. Managing director Isabelle Rickmers is also leaving the company at the end of May 2019.

Zeaborn Group created Zeaborn Ship Management earlier this year after acquiring both E.R. Schiffahrt and Rickmers Shipmanagement. Strack came into the company via Rickmers Ship Management, while Nils Aden and Issabelle Rickmers came in via E.R. Schiffahrt.

Ove Meyer and Jan-Hendrik Többe, managing partners of Zeaborn Group, commented in a joint statement: “We would like to thank Nils Aden and Isabelle Rickmers for their extraordinary commitment, and we wish them all the best in their private and professional lives. At the same time, with Holger Strack’s great expertise and many years of experience, we know that the company is in the best of hands.”
