Dubai: Emerald Maritime, a fast growing 30-month old Dubai based dry bulk owner, is looking to open an office in Singapore as it shifts its geographical reach further east. Managing partner and COO Capt. Jitesh Jaipuriyar has laid out plans to quintuple revenues from 2013’s $30m in the coming five years. Plans include moving into breakbulk and container shipping, as well as greater geographical diversification, with a Singapore office also on the cards to its already strong Indian coverage.
