Hong Lam Marine orders up to four bunkering vessels at Dayang Offshore

Singapore-based marine bunkering service provider Hong Lam Marine has signed shipbuilding contracts with China’s Dayang Offshore Equipment, a subsidiary yard of China Aerospace Science & Industry Corp (CASIC), for the construction of 8,500 dwt bunkering tankers.

The contracts comprise of firm order for two vessels and options for an additional two vessels.

The newbuildings add to Hong Lam’s orderbook of two 8,000 dwt bunkering tankers under construction at Dayang Offshore. All the vessels will be deployed for bunkering operations at Port of Singapore.

VesselsValue data shows Hong Lam Marine currently operates a fleet of 20 small clean tankers sized between 1,100 dwt and 11,300 dwt.
