Shanghai: Jiangsu Hongqiang Marine Heavy Industry has inked a shipbuilding contract with an unspecified German owner to construct four 12,500dwt multi-purpose heavy lift vessels. It is the first heavylift vessel order it has received.
The construction of the vessels will start in the second half of this year and delivery is scheduled in the first half of 2015. The price for each vessel is $18.5m. [28/05/13]
