Manila: Hutchison Port Holdings (HPH) is one of four parties to make the shortlist of bidders to build and operate a $1.6bn box port in Melbourne.
The three other groups shortlisted were the group of CMA CGM, ANL Container Line and Macquarie Specialised Asset Management; a consortium led by ICTSI from the Philippines; and Qube Holdings.
The new terminal is located at Melbourne's Webb Dock East.
HPH already has two concessions in Australia, in Brisbane and Sydney. [20/05/13]
