Huaihe river gets its first box terminal

Shanghai: Second phase expansion plan of river port Bengbu in eastern China's hinterland province Anhui has passed official examination to become the first harbour on the Huaihe River to have a container terminal, according to Xinhua. The project is estimated to cost RMB278m (US$43.7m) to build, and will cover an area of 27.33 hectares.  [31/08/12]
