Huangpu Wenchong wins two new orders

CSSC-affiliated Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding has announced that it has secured newbuild contracts for a 17,000dwt asphalt carrier and a 38,800dwt bulk carrier.

The asphalt carrier, ordered by Tianjin Southwest Marine, is scheduled for delivery in 2017.

The bulk carrier was ordered by CSSC Shipping (Hong Kong), the shipowning division of CSSC. Delivery is scheduled at the end of 2017.

Huangpu Wenchong is one of CSSC’s major shipyards with a diversified portfolio and delivered a record 49 vessels in 2015.
