Shanghai: CSC Phoenix has received a notice from Wuhan Maritime Court that ICBC Leasing has filed a lawsuit against the company due to payment arrears under a financial leasing contract.
ICBC Leasing has asked the court to terminate the financial leasing contract it signed with CSC Phoenix in 2009, meanwhile, it has requested CSC Phoenix to repay overdue chartering fees of RMB53.22m and compensation of RMB522m, and return all 39 vessels in the contract.
The court hearing of the case will start on December 10. [21/11/13]
