Icon Offshore awarded AHTS contract

Malaysian OSV operator Icon Offshore has secured a contract from an oil major for the provision of an anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessel.

The contract has already started and the period of the service is one year, with an extension option for an additional year.

The value of the contract is around RM18.2m ($4.33m).

Last week, Icon Offshore appointed oil and gas veteran Dato Sri Hadian Hashim as the new managing director of the company.
