IKM Subsea scores Aker BP IMR contract

Norwegian subsea services provider IKM Subsea has been awarded a contract by Aker BP for subsea inspection and light intervention services on the Norwegian continental shelf.

The duration of the contract is 3 years with an additional six years of options available. IKM Subsea will provide onshore project management, engineering, tooling preparation and offshore operations utilising its Merlin ROV fleet.

“We are humble and proud to the fact that yet another oil and gas major company in the North Sea recognizes the growth and development IKM Subsea have had over the last years. We see this acknowledgment to the lean and agile approach we have demonstrated to the industry during the down turn of the last few years. IKM are happy to continue the strong relationship with Aker BP by adding yet another service line to the relationship,” commented Hans Fjellanger, business development director at IKM Subsea.
