Ince’s Peermohamed appointed as next CEO of the Norwegian Hull Club

Bergen: The Norwegian Hull Club has tapped law firm Ince & Co’s global head of shipping to become its new ceo.

Faz Peermohamed will take over from John Wiik on January 1 next year. Wiik, 66, is retiring, having been with the club since 1979. He became CEO 21 years ago.

Peermohamed is an ex ship’s master with Maersk who has been with Ince for the past 22 years.

“The legal issues inherent in global insurance and shipping require a pragmatic, calm under pressure, and assured approach. We feel that Mr Peermohamed is particularly well suited to lead us into the future,” noted the board of the club.
