Inchcape Shipping Services CEO steps down

Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS) has announced that Captain Claus Hyldager has stepped down as the chief executive officer of the company.

Hyldager had served ISS  for over twenty years, including nine years as ceo.

A special committee of the ISS Board will oversee the search for a permanent ceo with the assistance of a leading executive search firm.  In the meantime, current chief financial officer, Chris Whiteside, will take over as acting chief executive officer.

  1. There is a lot more to this resignation which will hopefully surface in the news soon. The company has been plagued with a lot of problems since the last few years.

    1. James, the company’s management is completely rotten and requires a major revamp . That is the only way to save this company. Right from Africa to Middle East to Americas, the senior management is in the position due to nepotism and performance is zero. For sure, there will be more to come from this resignation.
