Intermarine transfers leasehold of terminals on Houston Ship Channel to Watco

Houston-based ocean transportation and marine logistics services company Intermarine has transferred its Industrial Terminals facility to Pittsburg, Kansas-based Watco, which owns the adjacent Greens Port Industrial Park on the Houston Ship Channel.

Intermarine and its affiliates Industrial Maritime Carriers (IMC) and Industrial Terminals Management (ITM) transferred the leasehold ownership to Watco while entering into long-term agreement for continued use of the Industrial Terminals cargo port.

Combined, the Greens Port Industrial Park and Industrial Terminals comprise 746 acres, seven berths and more than 5,000 feet of dock space.

On its own Industrial Terminals includes 90 acres of marshalling and storage, rail and truck access to ship berths and barge terminal.

Intermarine staff will remain based at Industrial Terminals.
