International Shipholding Corporation offloads two

Brokers report that the US outfit International Shipholding Corporation (ISC) fetched $10.4m each for two 35,000 dwt handysize bulkers,  EGS Crest and EGS Wave, both built in 2011.  The buyer is tipped to be United Bulk Carriers.

ISC’s strategic plan includes selling the Glovis Countess, a PCTC, to access equity and to divest from dry bulk where it has 17  vessels. ISC has been looking to sell the EGS Tide, EGS Crest and EGS Wave (all built 2011) for more than a year.
