Investment fund scoops up more of Scorpio Bulkers

Monaco: Investment manager Wellington Management has raised its share in New York-listed Scorpio Bulkers by almost 3.45m shares, a US SEC filing says.

The company now owns 18.2m shares or 10.1% of the Monaco-based bulker operator, worth around $38.1m at today’s closing price of $2.09.

According to a SEC filing from December 2014, Wellington owned 14.8m shares or 8.2% of the company.
