Dubai: Iraqi Oil Tanker Company (IOTC) is in the market for 9,000 dwt product tanker, sources within the firm tell GulfShip News.
State-run IOTC, founded in Basra in 1972, is expected to kick off an expansion program and is getting in touch with yards in China and Korea for quotes for a first newbuild with more to follow. It has in the past year put out tenders for modern second hand tonnage for small product tankers too. [11/09/13]
