Singapore: Singapore shipowner Iseaco Holdings has signed a deal with Taiwan shipbuilding CSBC to build a pair of 1,800 teu container vessels at a price of $25m each.
The vessels, for Iseaco’s YL Singapore Shipping and YL Colombo Shipping, are due for delivery in the first quarter of 2016.
CSBC is currently building twelve similar 1,800 teu vessels for Chinese shipowner SITC at its shipyard in Keelung. [02/01/14]
