Island Offshore secures ASCO Marine contract

Island Offshore has announced that that it has secured a two-year contract with ASCO Marine at market terms.

The Island Champion will be trading out of Aberdeen, and the new contract will commence from April 20, 2016.

“We are very pleased to have secured this new contract despite the challenging market conditions we are facing, and we look forward to co-operate with ASCO Marine in the years to come,” said Håvard Ulstein, managing director of Island Offshore Management.

Island Offshore,controlled by the Ulstein and Chouest families, is currently in a restructuring process. The company has four PSVs, three LWI vessels and one ROV/construction vessel in layup.
