Seoul: A Chinese ship surveyor, suspected of stealing Korean yard Samsung Heavy Industries' drillship building technology, was found guilty on September 6.
The surveyor who worked for the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) was given a year in prison plus two years probation by the Supreme Court in Korea.
The surveyor had been working on some OOCL boxships being built at Samsung. [07/09/12]
