Jakarta green lights Inpex’s FLNG project

Jakarta: Japan’s Inpex Corporation has received an environmental permit from the government of Indonesia based on the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment of the Abadi LNG Project, which is currently being prepared for development via a Floating LNG (FLNG) platform.

The FLNG will be based at the Masela Block, which Inpex has owned since 1998, and will have an initial capacity of 2.5m tons per year.  [12/08/14]
