Jan De Nul scores Danish offshore wind contract

Belgium’s Jan De Nul Group has been awarded a contract by Vattenfall Vindkraft Kriegers Flak for the transport and installation of 72 8.4MW Siemens wind turbine generators (WTG) for the Kriegers Flak offshore wind farm.

Kriegers Flak is located off Denmark in the Baltic Sea, and installation work will start in the first quarter of 2021 with an expected duration of four months.

“We are proud to have been awarded an offshore WTG installation project of this magnitude”, said Philippe Hutse, Offshore Director at Jan De Nul Group.
