Japanese green tech firm looks to SE Asia

Fukuoka: Japan’s Eco Marine Power (EMP) has entered into a sales and support agreement with MINs Control Systems Solution (MCSS) to sell and support EMP's renewable energy solutions for shipping in Singapore and Myanmar. These solutions include marine solar power systems and the Aquarius Management & Automation System (MAS), a performance monitoring and data logging platform.

MCSS was formed in 2005 in Singapore as a control systems solution provider.

Initially both companies will cooperate in promoting EMP's technologies to shipyards and shipowners in Singapore and Myanmar with a focus on integrating the Aquarius MAS with marine solar power solutions as a means to reduce fuel consumption on ships and offshore support vessels.  [08/07/14]
