Japan’s Orix reportedly in for slice of RBS loans

Japanese financial institution company Orix Corp has agreed to buy $290m worth of shipping loans from Royal Bank of Scotland, according to Reuters.

RBS is in the process of selling off at least another $300m of other shipping loans too. The majority of the Orix loans are to Greek owners.

Neither RBS or Orix has confirmed the report.
