Jarak port operating after earthquake

Doha: Operations were running normally at the Iranian port of Jarak, despite the city being near the epicentre of an earthquake on Sunday. Iran was hit by a quake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale yesterday with the epicentre being in Hormozgan province in southern Iran where Jarak is located.

Authorities said, however, the port was not affected from the quake.  [29/04/13]
