Jasa Merin awarded ExxonMobil contract

Kuala Lumpur: Silk Holdings has announced that its subsidiary, Jasa Merin (Malaysia), has been awarded a contract by ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Malaysia for the provision of a straight supply vessel with accommodation.

The contract is for a two year period with an option to extend for an additional year at the discretion of ExxonMobil.

Silk says the deal is estimated to have a value of approximately RM24.462m over the initial two year period.

Grant Rowles

Grant spent nine years at Informa Group based in London, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore. He gained strong management experience in publishing, conferences and awards schemes in the shipping and legal areas, working on a number of titles including Lloyd's List. In 2009 Grant joined Seatrade responsible for the commercial development of Seatrade’s Asia products. In 2012, with Sam Chambers, he co-founded Asia Shipping Media.
