Jiangnan scores six VLGCs

Shanghai: Jiangnan Shipyard, a CSSC-affiliated shipyard in Shanghai, recently has received an order of six VLGCs from China Oriental Energy. There are reportedly 10 to 16 options attached to the newbuilding contract. The first ship of the order is expected to be delivered by the end of 2014.

China Oriental Engergy is a clean energy operator in China and it is the largest supplier of importing high-purity liquefied petroleum gas. Currently the company has three production and storage bases in Zhangjiagang, Taicang and Ningbo, and its total storage capacity of liquefied petroleum gas is around 700,000 cu m. [19/11/12]
