Shanghai: Jinhai Heavy Industry announced that it has recently received its first jack up rig order. The name of owner has not been revealed.
In order to prepare for further transformation of its business focuses, Jinhai has now established dedicated project departments for offshore, LNG, LPG and semi-submersible platforms.
“Jinhai Heavy Industry has been actively developing new products and the signing of the contract is a strategic breakthrough of the company’s development in the offshore market,” the company said. [04/12/12]
