Jinhui Shipping offloads supramax bulker

Chinese dry bulk owner Jinhui Shipping and Transportation has announced the disposal of a supramax bulker.

The 2001-built 50,230 dwt Jing Ming was sold at a price of $5.46m, slightly under the MSI fair market value of $5.8m.

The CSSC Shanghai Shipyard-built vessel will be delivered to the new owner between December 16 and January 31. Upon completion of the sale, Jinhui’s fleet will be downsized to 18 bulkers.

Jinhui intends to keep all net sale proceeds received as general working capital of the company.
