Jinjiang to launch its first Southeast Asia route

Shanghai: Shanghai Jinjiang Shipping will launch its first southeast Asia route on 25 November, which will be a landmark move for the company to develop business in the region.

“We have plans to launch the southeast Asia route for a long time. This month, we will make it become reality. We will deploy three ships on it,” an official in charge of this new route told SinoShip News. “In addition, we also plan to open a north China route this year,” the official added.

Jinjiang mainly serves intra-China routes plus a few services to northeast Asia such as Korea and Japan. It has recently made big expansion plans including ship orders and tie ups with big Asian logistics companies.
Port rotation of the Southeast Asia route is Shanghai – Laem Chabnag – Bangkok – Ho Chi Minh – Shanghai.  [09/11/12]
