Asset Management Manager

The Asset Management Manager plays a key role in planning, designing, and implementing the asset management plans and policies. This position is responsible for managing the Asset Management (AM) Programs established by AP Gen.

This position will also provide direct support to the AP Gen Chief Technology Officer in carrying out the purpose and scope of the AP Gen Asset Management policies & guidelines according to ISO 55001 and established technical standards by:

1. Monitoring and improving the effectiveness of the Asset Management Plans of the Generation business units;

2. Reviewing and recommending operations and maintenance management philosophies aligned to industry best practices;

3. Collaborating with Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) with regard to operational risk reviews of the plants; and

4. Implementing AM Policy & Guidelines at the AP Gen Plant Level.

1. At least 7 years’ experience in a process plant position, preferably power generation or petrochemical/industrial gas production/refining, (Experience requirement may be reduced for individuals with an advanced technical or business degree, or registration as a professional engineer)

2. Preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance practices

3. Performance enhancement and optimization of operating assets or processes

4. Analyzing plant/facility financial performance requirements against operations, maintenance, and repair costs

5. Reliability engineering, statistical analyses of failure modes, and root cause failure analyses is preferred but not required

6. Exposure to plant information systems and performance monitoring software applications

7. Leadership: Experience in leading Reliability Engineering, CMMS, and/or Risk Engineering teams Project: At least 2 years’ experience


Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution

Master’s degree in Engineering, an advantage

License Required Engineering Board Passer

Professional Engineer, an advantage

Professional Individual Certification on ISO 55001 from internationally recognized asset management organizations such as Institute of Asset Management and Asset Management Council, preferred but not required
