Our client, a leading international provider of technology and software solutions to the maritime industry, is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team.  In this role, you will represent the company's offering of SaaS based applications and solutions to customers throughout Europe.  You will work closely with the Global VP of Sales out of the corporate office, the global sales team and management of the company to uncover and prospect for new business opportunities.  This is a full remote position with strong preference for candidates in the UK or Greece.  We are looking for someone with the following:

  • University degree preferred, equivalent experience will be considered
  • Experience in the maritime industry, must have strong industry network/contacts
  • Must have a demonstrated background in software sales, able to sell SaaS B2B solutions, we are looking for a hunter and strong closer
  • Demonstrated experience with database management, software, cybersecurity, consulting
  • Must be comfortable selling solutions and technology; this is not a commodity sale
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to lead and conduct online and in person software demonstrations to prospective customers
  • Must be authorized to work in the EU, no visa or sponsorship at this time
